A polished personal-branding site for a Scottish healthcare AI specialist — a single, credible online home for the projects, articles, credentials and services on offer. Built end-to-end by AandA as both a delivery for a real client and a demonstration of the design language we bring to every corporate site engagement.
The brief
Ayoolumi holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, is CompTIA Data+ certified, and has spent three years working across Scottish healthcare data. Before this site, that story lived in fragments — a LinkedIn profile here, a GitHub there, a folder of PDF portfolios nobody had seen. The brief was to build a single site that would present the full picture: production ML projects, published articles, services on offer, and a clear route into contact.
What we built
A fully custom Next.js + Tailwind site with server-side rendering, animated interactions, dark editorial navy-and-gold aesthetic, and content managed through structured MDX. Sections cover About, Portfolio (with case studies for NHS A&E wait-time prediction, pneumonia detection, mental-health forecasting and more), Articles, Resources, Experience & Skills, and a Services / Work-With-Me flow.
Every project card carries hard numbers — 85.67% accuracy on NHS wait-time prediction, 85.6% AUC on the fall-risk model, 620K+ health records processed — because a data engineering site should be data-first, not decoration.
Engineering discipline
- Next.js 14 with App Router, server components by default, client components only where interactivity demands it
- OG previews generated on the fly for every article and project so social shares always render properly
- Lighthouse 96 before the animation layer, 89 after — a deliberate trade for feel over score
